Description: 10km (rated 1A): walk from the Park to the ferry and then across to the island. Walk around the west side of the island returning to the ferry. The 13km is the same route as the 10km with the addition of a 3km trail (Rated 3B) to the top of Guemes Mtn. 5km (Rated 1A)- Two options: Walk from the park to the ferry and then across to the island for a short walk or walk on city streets, through downtown Anacortes. Water and restrooms at start/finish and along the route. The ferry does not operate from approx. 11:30 to 1pm.

REV: Guemes Island General Store (restaurant, too) is near the ferry terminal.  It is a great place to stop for lunch or snacks.

The Guemes Island ferry charges $4.00 adults and $2.00 seniors, roundtrip. Pets permitted but NOT in building(s). Owners responsible for leash and clean up laws. Guemes Ferry Schedule: https://www.skagitcounty.net/Departments/PublicWorksFerry/ferry2.htm

Start Point / Driving Directions: 1915 13th St., ANACORTES, WA. I-5 NORTHBOUND: Exit #230. Take ramp to Hwy 20 and turn left. Follow Hwy 20 to Anacortes turning right at the roundabout to head north on Commercial Ave. Turn left at 12th St. Left at D. Ave and left on 13th to parking near the restrooms. I-5 SOUTHBOUND: Exit #230. Take ramp on right and turn left on Hwy 20. Continue as above. (You will be following the signs for the Anacortes Ferry but will need to be sure to turn left on D. Ave.)
