INFORMATION: Enjoy stunning views of the Strait of Georgia, San Juan Islands, Gulf Islands and Mount Baker. Walk through coastal parks, a world-class marina and along the Canadian/US Border passing historic Boundary Marker No. 1. This unique part of Washington State is on a peninsula reached via car by driving through SW British Columbia, Canada.

DIRECTIONS TO START FROM CANADA: From I-5 Cross Canadian/USA border. I-5 becomes BC 99 N in Canada; Take exit 26 towards BC-17; Left at 56th St (Tsawwassen/Pt. Roberts); Cross border to Pt. Roberts; continue straight onto Tyee Dr; Turn right onto Gulf Rd.

DIRECTIONS TO START FROM USA: I-5 north, thru the Blaine US/Canadian border crossing, I-5 becomes BC-99 N. toward Delta. Take Exit 26 toward BC-17. Keep right at the fork and merge onto BC-17. Turn left on 56th Street to the Point Roberts US/Canadian border crossing. Continue straight on Tyee Dr. Right on Gulf Rd. to Kiniskis Reef Tavern, 1334 Gulf Rd.

INFORMATION: Explore Boundary Bay Regional Park with its dune plants, bird life & views of ocean & mountains. Also walk through residential areas of Boundary Bay & Beach Grove, which used to be full of small cottages. We expect quite a few American Volkssporters to join us on this walk.
DIRECTIONS TO START: By car: From Point Roberts, proceed north on 56 St; Right on 12 Ave; Right on Boundary Bay Rd; Left at sign for Centennial Beach. From Hwy 99, take exit for Hwy 17 southbound; Left on 56 St; Left on 12 Ave; Right on Boundary Bay Rd; Left at sign for Centennial Beach. By transit: From Bridgeport Station (Canada Line), bus #601 (South Delta) to South Delta Exchange; bus #C89 (Boundary Bay) along Boundary Bay Rd to sign for Centennial Beach; Walk along access road to Concession Building.

INFORMATION: Part of the CAN-US Walk/US-CAN Walk event with the NW Tulip Trekkers. Walk along the beautiful lawns & amongst the gardens within the Park crossing the Canada/US Border, then walking to White Rock where you will walk along the promenade enjoying the views of the Pacific Ocean.

DIRECTIONS TO START FROM CANADA: Exit Hwy 99 on Beach Rd; turn Left into parking lot behind Duty Free Store; Start point in adjacent picnic area.

DIRECTIONS TO START FROM CANADA: After finishing the White Rock event walk, proceed to the American side of Peace Arch park walking thru the Peace Arch, into the Border Control to clear immigration, then make your way to the restroom/kitchen building in the park.
INFORMATION: Enjoy Peace Arch park, Blaine Marine park, Lincoln Park, downtown, residential areas & the marina with views of Pt. Roberts, White Rock, Semiahmoo Bay & Drayton Harbor.
