Northwest Hiking Weekend – Skamania County, WA July 28-30, 2017

Join us for our annual hiking weekend and just try to get enough of tramping along trails in the mountains, along rivers and waterfalls, with loads of views and clean, crisp air.  Four trails will provide hours of hiking delights. This year the event will also feature a bike and swim.

REGISTRATION POINT:  Registration for all walks is at the Port of Skamania County’s Teo Park, located in downtown Stevenson, Washington, on the waterfront. From Highway 14, turn right on Russell Street, cross the railroad tracks and Teo Park is straight ahead to the right. The park has grassy lawns, picnic tables, parking and restrooms. There are views of the Columbia River and the mountains of the Gorge.

Start Time:  8:00 a.m. to Noon
Finish Time:  5:00 p.m.

Directions:  From Seattle area, take I-5 southbound; exit to HWY-205 bypassing Vancouver; exit east on SR-14 through Camas and continue into Stevenson; turn right on Russell Street. Cross the railroad tracks and Teo Park is straight ahead to the right. From Portland area, take I-84 east to the Bridge of the Gods. At Exit #44, cross the bridge to Washington SR-14, turn east and go 3 miles to Stevenson; turn right on Russell Street, cross railroad tracks and Teo Park is straight ahead on the right. You will register at Teo Park, then drive to the trailhead. Written directions and maps will be provided to participants on day of event. Washington State Discovery Pass required at the Beacon Rock State Park.  Northwest Forest Pass required at the Falls Creek Falls and Gillette Lake/Greenleaf Overlook trailhead parking.

Award:  30 patches are available (see at right).  No reorders.  IVV credit is $3.00.  Free participants are welcome but all must register and carry and return the event start card(s).
