This program reminds us of the wonders of our National and State Park Systems

Washington State Challenge – Discover Your Parks runs from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028.   Patches for books received past the end date will be sent while supplies last. No refunds.

 Book sales start November 29th, 2025, and ends December 31, 2028.

Description of Challenge

Complete 20 AVA sanctioned events where the route goes through a State or National Park.  In addition to placing the event stamp/sticker you will need to name the park on the qualifier line. There are no limits to the number of times you may visit the same park. You are however, encouraged to explore the many parks available. Events in the states of WA, OR, ID and AK qualify.  You must pay for credit, register for the walk, and sign the waiver form.

The award is a 100% embroidered 3-inch patch as shown above.

Books are available at most major ESVA events. or can be purchased by using the mail-in form on this website
